Federico Dimarco admits that he’s “never seen anything like” Inter Milan’s title celebration, as Milan is “Nerazzurri.”

The 26-year-old wingback spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, during the festivities.

Yesterday, Inter held their Serie A title celebration parade.

The Nerazzurri began the afternoon with a league match against Torino, beating the Granata 2-0.

Then, afterwards the team began their open top bus parade. They made their way through the city of Milan to the Piazza Duomo.

Inter were joined by a massive crowd of fans.

Reports indicate that there were more than 300,000 people on hand to celebrate the Nerazzurri’s twentieth ever title victory and second star.

It was an emotional and jubilant event.

And for someone like Dimarco – who had never previously celebrated a league title – this was a truly special experience.

Federico Dimarco: “Never Seen Anything Like This, Milan Is Nerazzurri”

Dimarco admitted that “The emotions I’m feeling are indescribable.”

“I’ve never seen anything like this,” he continued.

“They told me that there are 200,000 people here. That’s just mind-blowing.”

“Milan is Nerazzurri!” Dimarco declared. “This is special.”

The 26-year-old added that “We have to thank the fans, who have always been by our side no matter where we play.”

“They deserve a celebration all of their own!”

Of winning the title as a lifelong Inter fan, Dimarco said that “It means something special.”

“I began at Inter when I was six years old,” the wingback continued. “Then I went off on my own path, always trying to win back a place at Inter.”

“I had some ups and downs, including some low points,” Dimarco admitted.

“But when I managed to win back a place at Inter, I tried to always give my all for this shirt. Because it deserves to be treated as special.”

“Today was the fulfillment of a dream,” Dimarco beamed.

“After the disappointments we’ve had in the last couple seasons with the league title two years ago and then the Champions League final, I think today is the best gift we could ask for.”

Dimarco commented that “Inter isn’t a team like the others. It’s special.”

“Myself and my teammates who’ve been here longer than me, like Barella, Lautaro, Bastoni, Darmian, we’ve always tried to convey what Interismo means. Myself especially.”

“All the guys who came here last summer integrated into the team right away. They proved they’re worthy of this shirt.”

Then, regarding the team’s ambitions for next season, Dimarco said that “After last season’s Champions League final I said that it had to be a starting point.”

“And it was, because we built a title-winning team off of that defeat.”

“But as far as next season? I prefer not to say anything – I just want to think about enjoying this party right now!”
