Los Angeles Clippers: Nick Wright Exposes James Harden With 1 Embarrassing Revelation
Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden is coming off a salty shooting performance in a 123-93 home loss at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of their first-round series last Wednesday. Among the chief reasons behind the Clippers’ defeat in that contest was the lousy performance of Harden, who came up with only seven points on a horrendous 2/12 shooting from the floor. He made only one of his seven attempts from behind the arc and was 2/2 from the foul line.

That forgettable showing from Harden moved him closer to tying and breaking an embarrassing playoff record in the NBA, which Nick Wright of FOX Sports reminded everyone following the Clippers’ loss to Luka Doncic and company.

“James Harden now also ties the all time NBA record for most playoff games with 10+ shot attempts & 3 or fewer makes, with SEVENTEEN,” Wright posted on X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter).

Los Angeles Clippers Star James Harden Gets Closer to Terrible Playoff Record

Harden just simply didn’t have it in Game 5. It was also the same case for the entire Clippers squad, as Los Angeles connected on just 37.9 percent of their shots from the field and was 9/25 from deep.

Prior to that, however, Harden was shooting nicely, as he posted an average of 26.0 points on a 54.1 field-goal percentage I the first four games of the series. Perhaps that was just regression biting Harden. And if that’s the case, he could be due for a big rebound performance this Friday night, as the Clippers look to force a Game 7.
