The Philadelphia Phillies scratched Aaron Nola from his start Sunday against the Boston Red Sox after he was placed on the COVID-related injured list, according to The Athletic's Matt Gelb.
The Phillies will not start Aaron Nola today. He’s going on COVID list. The Phillies have had to get numerous players here to Fenway today.

The Phillies also placed third baseman Alec Bohm, right-hander Connor Brogdon and left-hander Bailey Falter on the COVID-related injured list, Gelb adds.
Bohm exited Saturday's game against the Red Sox due to COVID-19 protocols. Phillies manager Joe Girardi said Sunday Bohm had tested positive for the coronavirus and will have to miss at least 10 days.
Girardi: Alec Bohm tested positive. He will miss at least 10 days. Other players are in protocols; status is unclear. Phillies had an idea last night they’d need players. Got them here at 9 a.m.

Nola, Brogdon and Falter were placed on the COVID-related IL as close contacts.
The Phillies are one of a few teams in Major League Baseball that did not reach 85% of personnel vaccinated for relaxed protocols.
